Have you realised that we are now a Country of 35 entities ! Yes, 28 States (and counting) and 7 UTs make us quite a diverse Nation.
Not that I am against it,but the mere fact that these new entities are politically motivated, does not augur well for our future. Remember how our large number of Princely States caused our downfall once already ?
With Telengana and Ladakh wanting their own Land....we should be clear about the choices ahead. And of course WE can make a difference.
So what do you think ? Let us hear it...

Ladakh is asking for a separate land???
From a moral standpoint, it is difficult to argue that a group of people AND their land be forced to be part of any country.

Thank you for your views. Having served there...trust me it IS a world apart from the other parts of J&K. It has been maintained well and the people there are preserving their culture.
Their call seems justified, if compared to others calling for their own.
But I still believe, we need to be one and only one, else ppl like Thackerays will make portions of this Land their very own.
